AM I A WRITER?

Well, I write a lot. All the time when I am not writing I think of writing. Everything around me inspires. Does it qualify me as a writer?

Truly, I don’t care. This is something I do for my own good. I have to pen down my thoughts. And where else then blogger.com could be the best platform.  I do have my limitations. I often reach to the dead end when I just can’t write a single word. But the urge chases me so much so that I even end up writing about it.

When I am at work, I often listen to the grand discussions of my office colleagues during the lunch hour. I associate them with fictional characters and start writing on it once I reach back home. Well, that’s really a good practice I believe.

I observe people, learn and understand what they are saying. Now I could even gauge a person thought process from his or her facial expressions or body language. Following this I easily sketch a character and develop a story around it. Like a close friend once said to me – you never understood me; it hurts how you underestimate me. For 6days the two words –‘ it hurts’ haunted me till I came to the conclusion. I often cut off my emotions, indifferent of my surround and concentrate something deeper, in my thoughts.

I never called back my friend to say ‘sorry’ coz I knew he would understand. Most of them try to understand me but few are there who accept the way I am. I am a typical geek, who thinks differently, extremely creative, lives secluded life but loves all those who are there always. I do fall short in my emotional expressions. But never fall short of writing about those in my NOTEBOOK.
